PRP is widely used in aesthetics where the natural resources of your body are harnessed to promote skin rejuvenation. By stimulating collagen, elastin and cellular growth, as well as by improving local blood supply and hydration, your skin texture and tone should gradually improve and lead to a younger looking skin
A small sample of blood is taken from your arm, exactly like having a routine blood test. The blood is centrifuged, and 10 minutes later, the PRP has been separated from the whole blood and is ready to use. Once on site, the growth factors and other regenerative molecules are released leading to collagen and elastin formation as well as a cellular growth and skin remodelling. This results in long-lasting skin rejuvenation.
The sensations vary between each person and treatment. Since PRP is autologous (self-sourced), adverse reactions are rare. You may experience slight redness, swelling, mild bruising and pain. Those reactions usually pass in a day or two.
This treatment improves skin texture and tone, refines wrinkles and reduces scars such as acne or stretch marks while preserving a natural appearance. PRP can also be used to promote hair growth when injected into the scalp. Visible results may take between 2-6 weeks and will vary between individuals. This variance depends on factors such as general health, age, diet, smoking and skin type.

Dermal filler is a foreign material designed to give volume and fill lines in specific areas. With PRP, skin complexion is improved and a natural, healthy glow is restored.
Clinical evidence has shown that combining PRP with other rejuvenation techniques such as fillers, mesotherapy and laser induces a beneficial effect.
3 sessions is often recommended 4-6 weeks apart and maintenance treatments are recommended every 6-12 months for optimal long lasting results
Contraindications include pregnancy, breastfeeding, autoimmune or blood pathologies, and cancer. Consistent use of NSAID drugs within 48 hours of PRP should be avoided.
